Victoria Williamson

Victoria is honored to have been selected as a recipient of the Raymund Fellowship which will allow her to continue pursuing her research interest in the developmental trajectories of neural, mental, and physical health across adolescence with a focus on social cognition.

Victoria is a first-year student in the clinical psychology and developmental psychology PhD programs.

She first became interested in research when, as an undergraduate, she worked for a sustainability-focused research lab in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Since then, her research has spanned across the fields of behavioral neuroscience, social neuroscience, health outcomes, and developmental social neuroscience.

She hopes to pursue a career in academic research where she can continue to study and advocate for the health and wellbeing of adolescents, particularly those who are understudied and underserved, including under-represented minorities.
