The 9th Annual Grad Forum

The Grad Forum provides an excellent professional development opportunity for graduate students to share their research with a broad audience of faculty, other graduate students, undergraduates, and members of the larger community. It’s also a great way to make interdisciplinary connections -- and compete to win up to $500!

The 9th Annual Grad Forum will take place on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 9:30 to 4:00 in the EMU. Graduate students are encouraged to submit proposal to present their work in one of three formats: Poster, Three-Minute Thesis, or Panel Presentation (format details below). The submission deadline is Thursday, March 15, 2018 by 1 p.m. Submit your proposal here.(link is external)

The ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex research to non-specialist audiences is a vital skill for all graduate students whether in a poster, panel or 3-Minute thesis format. Watch this video (link is external) to see how fellow graduate students tackled this challenging event and made their way to 2017 3-Minute Thesis competition.
