Academic Year:

The UO Division of Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and its Center on Diversity and Community (CoDaC) support projects and initiatives on diversity, equity and inclusion across the UO campus. The University community has recently engaged in developing a broad framework for equity and inclusion (the IDEAL framework) and is now developing unit-specific Diversity Action Plans (DAPs) to put these concepts into action (https://inclusion.uoregon.edu/diversity-uo).  The Division of Equity and Inclusion is currently supporting development and implementation of these plans across campus, including providing demographic information, research into best practices in training and assessment, and development of workshops and reports as well as through initiatives on faculty and graduate student development.

The successful candidate will engage in research, development, and reporting for projects relevant to equity and inclusion on our University campus. Specific projects may include:

  • Contributing to policy development by collecting and reporting survey and case study analyses on outcomes of broad training exercises in equity and inclusion
  • Assist in the development and implementation of unit-specific UO Diversity Action Plan programs through analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of institutional and national data, as well as policy research and dissemination

Graduate students pursuing any master’s or doctoral degree may apply.
