Duties: 
Women’s and Gender Studies Department is seeking qualified applicants for a Graduate Teaching Fellowship at .40 FTE for winter term 2014.  The successful candidate will read the assigned material, assist with grading, attend classes, and hold office hours. Salary is determined by the GTFF bargaining contract, which mandates minimum salary ranges based on academic level. The fellowship includes a tuition waiver for the winter term 2014.  Health insurance and student fees are also subsidized.   

 

Preferred Qualifications: 
  1. Admission to a University of Oregon graduate program.
  2. Background in women's and gender studies or literature.
  3. Strong writing skills.
  4. Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity.
  5. Ability to work independently.

Graduate students pursuing any master’s or doctoral degree may apply.

Applications must include transcripts; two letters of recommendation; a statement by the candidate outlining interests and qualifications; and, if available, teaching evaluations from any previously grading or instructional positions.
