Graduate School Recruitment Fund

*The Graduate School is no longer accepting requests for this funding for the 2019-20 admission cycle as we have reached our funding limit for the year.*

The University of Oregon Graduate School has funds available to support the efforts of faculty and staff in UO graduate programs to recruit PhD students. The goal of these funds is to help our graduate departments and programs reach their recruiting goals by increasing the resources available to reach prospective and admitted students. 
These funds are reserved for campus visits by prospective PhD students who are admitted or coming to campus for admission interviews. These funds will provide up to $500 per student. 
Fund requests will be considered and awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. Multiple applications from individual departments will be considered, but there will be an attempt to maximize the impact of the awards by distributing them across as many programs as possible. The Graduate School will inform you of the decision within 3 business days from application submission, if not sooner.
Award money will be distributed directly to departments/programs.
Please submit one request per applicant.
