Program Description

The advanced materials analysis and characterization (AMAC) is a 15-month program culminating in a master of science in chemistry.

The program includes 54 total credits: 26 graded credits and 28 research internship credits. Learn advanced techniques in: 

  • Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)
  • SEM-FIB Microscopy (DB-FIB)
  • X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)
  • Time-of-flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry
  • (ToF-SIMS) Electron Probe Micro Analyzer (EPMA)
