The Department of Physics is creating an open pool of applicants in anticipation of the possibility of hiring qualified Graduate Teaching Fellows from outside the Department. The primary duty will be to assist in tutorial sections in General Physics (PHYS 201, 202, and 203), Foundations of Physics I (PHYS 251, 252, and 253), and Foundations of Physics II (PHYS 351, 352, and 353) and in laboratory sections in General Physics Laboratory (PHYS 204, 205, and 206), Foundations of Physics Laboratory (PHYS 290), and Physics Experimentation Data Analysis Laboratory (PHYS 391). Appointments will generally be made at .40 FTE for Fall, Winter, and Spring terms, with an application deadlines of August 15, November 15, and February 15, respectively.

Submit an application or resume, containing a list of physics and math courses completed and grades received (unofficial transcsripts are acceptable). Provide contact information for at least two people who can comment on your skills or promise as a teaching assistant.
