The GTF in this position will work with the Center on Diversity and Community (CoDaC) on a variety of projects including:
Creating scripts and designing and filming videos for training purposes
Designing and creating multimedia presentations for CoDaC’s website and other training opportunities
Designing and updating content for the CoDaC website, and helping coordinate the Center’s other outreach materials
Assisting with other duties assigned
This person will also participate in weekly CoDaC staff meetings, hold regular office hours, and conduct some external contact hours with CoDaC’s affiliated units on projects as determined by the Center.
University of Oregon graduate students pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in any discipline are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated abilities in the areas relevant to the assignment:
Strong video filming and editing skills
Strong graphic design skills
Experience with multimedia presentation and storytelling
Strong administrative skills
Social justice/diversity/equity knowledge and orientation
Experience working collaboratively and effectively with diverse constituencies
Additional abilities, which will be considered a “plus” in applicant eligibility, are:
Experience in organizational development and/or academic program administration
Potential availability for this position in Academic Year 2013-2014
