Graduate School's Innovations Award Winners to Begin Work This Summer

Four projects were funded through the Innovations in Graduate Education program for the 2015 – 2016 academic year. The program supports goals toward graduate enrollment growth, programmatic innovation and excellence, and greater diversity. This year, the program focused on media-based recruitment efforts and encouraged partnership with the Center for Media and Educational Technology (CMET). The winners included Planning, Public Policy, and Management; Linguistics; International Studies; and East Asian Languages and Literature. Three of the four will work with CMET to develop short videos to highlight the strengths of their programs in hopes of reaching a wider audience of prospective graduate students. Linguistics is using their funding to ramp up their social media efforts.
