Graduate Student Funding: Awards, Fellowships & Financial Aid Joshua Puhn from the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships will present information about financial aid options for graduate students. Kyle Reynolds from the Graduate School will discuss the awards and fellowships available through the Graduate School and other University entities. John Ahlen of International Student and Scholar Services will discuss funding options for international students during the academic year and suggestions for support during summer months. |

Practicing Effective Conference Networking Heading to a conference soon? Learn all about how to effectively network at a conference and make yourself memorable. This will be an interactive workshop simulating a conference social event and giving you a chance to practice techniques such as developing your elevator pitch, demonstrating confident body language, and more. The event will be attended by select faculty and staff, in addition to graduate students.

If you are one of the many people with a LinkedIn account and not sure what to do next then this workshop is for you. Learn the tools to make your profile professional, brand yourself, research, and network within your field. The session will be split up for beginner and immediate users of LinkedIn. |

Practice to Perfection: Mock Interview Practice Session Interviewing is about demonstrating that you are a fit with an employer. Learn how to develop and communicate your personal message that will resonate with employers. This session will be an opportunity for you to interview with a career counselor, faculty member, or professional recruiter alongside fellow students. This mock interview experience will give you an opportunity to practice your skills and presentation, observe fellow students, and learn tips on how to improve your interviewing skills.
