GE Late Pay

  • All GE appointment paperwork is processed in the order it is received from the departments by both the Graduate School and Payroll Office.  Several conditions need to be met to receive your pay on time. First, payroll processing documents (PRFs) need to be received in the Graduate School by the third Friday in July (priority deadline date). Second, other payroll forms need to be received by the Payroll Office by their deadline date (the second Friday in September).  Third, all documents must be free of significant errors in order for a student to be paid on the last business day in September. Later submissions are added daily and will be paid as soon as possible after the normal pay date.

  • The week before the start of fall term is a busy and exciting time for us at the Graduate School. In addition, with the large number of new and returning students to attend to we may not be able to respond to questions as quickly as usual, but we will be checking e-mail as often as possible.  Please allow extra time this week to receive a response.

  • For GEs whose appointment paperwork was submitted after the priority deadline, you may have a delay to your paycheck, insurance benefits and tuition & fee credits.  If you have questions about your role in the process see the Graduate School website titled Graduate Students: Your Role in the GE Appointment Process at http://gradschool.uoregon.edu/node/1417.  Delayed benefits are retroactive to the first day of your appointment.
