The Division of Graduate Studies administers a range of scholarships, fellowships and awards. These awards are supported by generous donors and the Division of Graduate Studies.

University of Oregon Scholarships, Fellowships, and Awards
University-wide scholarships are offered centrally through the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. Many individual UO schools and departments also offer scholarships to students studying a specific major or discipline.

The College of Education offers scholarships, doctoral research awards and doctoral student conference awards.
School of Music and Dance - Scholarships and Funding
The School of Music and Dance has a limited number of scholarships for those who complete all application requirements (including auditions for performance applicants) by the posted deadlines.
College of Arts and Sciences - Scholarships and Fellowships
The College of Arts and Sciences provides a significant number of donor-supported scholarships to graduate CAS students.
School of Journalism and Communication - Graduate Funding
The School of Journalism and Communication offers scholarships to qualifying graduate students.
College of Design - Scholarships and Funding
The College of Design offers scholarships to qualifying graduate students.
Lundquist College of Business - Scholarships and Funding
Each LCB program offers different funding options and scholarships to help offset the cost of tuition that is specifically tailored to meet the needs of its students.
Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies (CLLAS) Grants
CLLAS offers two different types of grants for graduate students doing research in the areas of Latinx and Latin American Studies.
International Student and Scholar Services - Scholarships
The Division of Global Engagement offers scholarships and financial aid resources for international students and scholars.
General University Scholarship Program
General University Scholarships are awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, and selection is highly competitive. They are made possible by the generous contributions of many individuals to the University of Oregon.
Logan Graduate Mentor Award
The Logan Graduate Mentor Award, part of the Logan Scholarship Program, supports graduate students pursuing the UOTeach licensure program or special education.
Oregon Humanities Center Fellowships
OHC offers dissertation fellowships and research support fellowships to support humanities research.
Wayne Morse Center Graduate Research Fellowships
Each year the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics supports Graduate Research Fellows by making three awards of $3,000 each to UO graduate students.
External Fellowships and Awards
The Division of Graduate Studies regularly receives information about funding opportunities for graduate students during the academic year.
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation is a valuable resource for funding opportunities, proposal development and application assistance.
External agencies (for example, NSF, NIH, USDA) provide funding for graduate students. They provide resources to assist you in finding these additional external opportunities and will provide instruction on where to obtain more information about each program as well as an application.
