Congratulations! As a Graduate Teaching Fellow (GTF), you play an important role. GTFs assist UO academic departments and administrative units with teaching, research, and administrative work.
It is your responsibility to read and become familiar with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University and the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation, which details the policies and procedures associated with GTF positions and their administration. In addition to this, each department determines its own duties and responsibilities regarding its GTFs via General Duties and Responsibilities Statements (see GDRS below). Specific job descriptions may also be provided.
